Sara Kinneary grew up in central NJ. She began to draw around the age of 14 and discovered it came easier than sports or academics. She started practicing doing sketches of cartoons and portraits from photographs as a means to strengthen her skills and develop a personal technique. Shortly after, Sara began to experiment with oil and acrylic paint and since then she has not stopped creating and producing artwork.
After earning an AAS in Fine Arts from Brookdale Community College in Lincroft NJ Sara moved to NYC to attend Pratt Institute in Brooklyn to earn her BFA with a concentration in Painting. While living in NYC Sara's work was featured in a number of exhibitions including “Memoirs of the Skinny" at the LES venue The Skinny Bar and in "The Haunted Gallery of Addiction" at Chasama, in Midtown. Her work has also been featured in numerous group exhibitions at Torche Galerie in Belmar, NJ.
Sara currently resides in southern NJ and continues to create new collections working with mediums such as oils, acrylics, and wood.
